How Are Projects Managed?

digital project management

First and foremost, you have one point of contact, Me, Martin Jones.

From quick fixes to new website builds, PPC management, link building, local SEO, tracking and hosting. If something isn’t right, call me.

Not sure what’s needed, or who is responsible for a task, call me. I’ll provide the answers and manage the solutions, while you get on with your own day-to-day work.

I will help you get better results from your budget, or maybe improve efficiencies. Perhaps you need a second opinion, an audit of your outsourced online services, or an introduction to someone I know and trust.

Whether working with your existing Contacts, or my own network of specialiststhe process is much the same. I make sure I know much more about your business than individual suppliers tend to. And I confirm they have clear instructions based on or conversations.

If we’re dealing with different areas of digital marketing, I create an over-arching plan to make sure everyone is aligned.

Working With your existing suppliers

I have many years’ experience in working with my clients’ existing suppliers and giving them what they need to producing better results.

I ask your providers the right questions and explain their feedback to you. I’ll be diplomatic and make sure they know we’re here to help them and not there to replace them. I can provide them with the research, planning and general overview that makes their job easier.

Red Design’s Supplier Network

I use the people I do because they have proven to be reliable and I know their strengths and expertise.

For example, some programmers are brilliant on one platform and not so comfortable on another. Some might have developed quick ways to deal with a hacked site, while others have a keener sense of the visual side of the job and others are better at producing elegant solutions to a difficult problem.

In terms of digital marketing, my area of expertise is in the research, planning and reporting side of things. That means I can make sure there is some SEO gain from work done on the fabric of your website, email campaigns, social media and that link building is done where we need it most.

No Retainer

You only pay for what you use, when you use it, with no ongoing contract or retainer. If you have a budget in mind, we can plan your monthly tasks to fit that.

A retainer isn’t usually in the client’s best interests. For instance, SEO work, the work is always more front-loaded. Month one of an SEO project typically involves research, fixing things on the website and setting up process. So why should you be paying the same on month six as month one?

And No Contract

I like the fact that my clients pay for the work they want done, when they want it.

For clients I work with all year round, they still have control over the process. If they need to reign-in their online marketing budget for a month or two, they can do. Perhaps they want to pay someone in-house to take over some of the tasks I manage… no problem, we can show them how and be there to help them if they get stuck.

And all of this keeps us on our toes and working hard for our clients.
